OSIA membership is open to men and woman ages 18 and older.
To be a regular member of our lodge, one must be either:
- Of Italian heritage (self, parent, grandparent, etc.)
- The spouse of someone of Italian heritage
- The adopted child of someone of Italian heritage
All others not of Italian heritage (or their spouse or adopted child), may join as social members, if they believe in OSIA goals and want to participate in our programs.
The Motto of our Order throughout its history has always been "Liberty, Equality and Fraternity". The purpose of our organization is to enroll all eligible persons so that we may successfully promote national education; secure adequate laws for the benefit of our members; encourage the dissemination of Italian culture in the United States and Canada; to organize programs for patriotic and humanitarian purposes; and to combat discrimination while protecting and upholding the positive image and the prestige of the people of Italian heritage in the United States and Canada.
Yearly dues $70.00 one time registration fee $15.00
